Legacy Business Services is a locally owned building maintenance company based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Founded and led by Dan Moates, the company specializes in servicing office towers, medical office buildings, retail centers, surgery centers, and event venues.

Executive Team:

Dan Moates

With over 20 years of experience in the janitorial industry, Dan Moates began his career as an entry-level Account Manager and advanced to the role of Director of Operations, where he oversaw multiple locations and millions of square feet of cleaning space. His hands-on leadership style and unwavering commitment to service excellence are evident in his personal involvement with client requests.

Before transitioning to the janitorial industry, Dan gained valuable customer service experience in retail, financial services, and marketing. A proud native Texan, he earned his degree in Marketing from Hardin-Simmons University, where he also played on the golf team and performed in the University Concert Band. Dan, a devoted husband and father of two, is inspired by the legacies of his grandfathers and father, which influenced the naming of his company, Legacy Business Services.

Maribel Ipina

Maribel, a proud Dallas native, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN, RN) from El Centro College & Mountain View College in 2002. With a strong background in healthcare, she served as Director of Nursing at both UT Southwestern and Renaissance until 2019. After making a career transition, Maribel now thrives in the commercial janitorial services industry.

Outside of her professional life, Maribel has a passion for cosmetology, specializing in makeup and nails. She takes great pride in mentoring her team members, finding joy in seeing them grow and succeed in their roles. Known for her calm assertiveness, Maribel excels at navigating challenges and changes with poise and confidence.
